PROJECT REFERENCE
TCP/IP Network Trainer
Interactive network and infrastructure topology design and training application for understanding TCP/IP and server connectivity through visual models.
What problem does it solve?
TCP/IP, routing, subnetting and server relationships can be difficult to understand from theory alone. The project provides visual topologies that make components and their relationships easier to explore.
Key features
- Interactive network topologies
- Visual placement of servers and network components
- IP addressing and connection models
- Training and design scenarios
- Visual validation of infrastructure relationships

Technology stack
| Frontend | WPF |
|---|---|
| Application layer | C# / .NET |
| UI model | Interactive canvas / topology components |
| Data model | Network nodes, links and configuration objects |
| Platform | Windows desktop |
How it works
The user builds a network model from topology elements. The application uses nodes, links and configuration data to render and manage the full environment visually.
Engineering focus
The main engineering challenge is keeping canvas elements, connection lines and the underlying topology model synchronised in both directions.
