PROJECT REFERENCE
NodeXter
Web-based infrastructure design system with visual components, relationships, project management and validation features.
What problem does it solve?
Infrastructure designs are often created as static diagrams, which makes ongoing modification and validation difficult. The project provides an interactive browser-based design environment.
Key features
- Visual infrastructure design
- Component and relationship management
- Project save and reload
- Validation and recommendations
- Extensible infrastructure model

Technology stack
| Frontend | HTML, CSS, JavaScript |
|---|---|
| Backend | ASP.NET Core / C# |
| Data access | Entity Framework-based persistence |
| Database | Designed to work with PostgreSQL or MSSQL |
| Platform | Web / SaaS-style application |
How it works
Users create infrastructure models in the browser. The backend manages project data, persistence and validation while the frontend renders and edits the topology interactively.
Engineering focus
A central engineering concern is keeping the client-side diagram state and server-side project model consistent, including feeding validation results back into the visual editor.
