PROJECT REFERENCE
Cloud Lab Studio
WPF application for visually designing cloud and infrastructure architectures with reusable components, connections and built-in validation.
What problem does it solve?
Infrastructure and cloud designs can quickly become difficult to manage as components and dependencies grow. The project provides an interactive visual design surface for modelling these architectures.
Key features
- Visual placement of infrastructure components
- Connection and dependency management
- Project-based architecture design
- Validation and problem highlighting
- Reusable samples and topology models

Technology stack
| Frontend | WPF |
|---|---|
| Application layer | C# / .NET |
| UI | Canvas-based diagram and component management |
| Data model | Architecture nodes, links and properties |
| Platform | Windows desktop |
How it works
Users assemble architectures from components, define relationships and then run validation against the model. Problems are reflected back into the visual editor.
Engineering focus
Important engineering areas include visual editor state management, connection handling between diagram elements, and linking validation rules with navigation in the UI.
